The people and religion of Tonga
Religion is very controversial nowadays, because of all those topics and all that stuff that say it isn't real, etc...
In Tonga however, nearly every citizen is part of a religion, and religion is treated in Tonga to be something real and an important and obligatory part of people's life
But, what religion reigns in Tonga? Is not the islam or native religions, the religion that reigns in Tonga is christianism. This is because of the british colonization.
Now, let's go to statistics mand churches.
Nearly every family of Tonga is part of the Christian Church. More than the third of the population of Tonga is part of the Wesleyan Church. And the small portions of people that aren't in these churches, are part of minor churches, for example: The Free Church of Tonga.
Strange isn't it. People would expect that Tonga had native religions as a mayority, but no, it is a christian country.
But, are people from Tonga happy with christianism being the popular religion?
Of course they are, countless of photos and the common sense are saying that those people are happy with that, just think about it, if people didn't liked christianism, they wouldn't be in those churches.
